SEATTLE -- Exinda Networks, the only provider of fully integrated WAN optimization and applications acceleration platforms worldwide, today announced the release of its groundbreaking 10 Megabits per second (Mbps) version of the Exinda 1700 WAN optimization appliance for small and medium enterprise (SME) and branch offices. The Exinda 1700-10 meets the growing demand for high speed, low cost links to branch office locations.

The high bandwidth 1700-10 model ramps the speed of the 1700 appliance series from its previous 2 Mbps to 10 Mbps. It is the first richly featured WAN optimization appliance at this performance level globally to be available at a recommended retail price of under USD $2,000. Comparable 10 Mbps solutions from competitive vendors are priced starting at USD $9,000.
